Daffodils

Pappy gave us dozens of daffodil bulbs.  He was also kind enough to plant them.  He wasn't sure if they would bloom this season or not.  They did.  They actually started blooming late January.  These pictures were taken in February and March.  I am looking forward to having many more blooms each spring.  I am not good with flowers/gardening, so daffodil bulbs are right up my alley (i hope!)

Beach Spetember 2011

Nana and Papa have a time share. They usually have to take their week in March, but last year the resort was renovating in March, so they got to go in September. We have a break in September. So we went too. Fun!! There are a lot of pictures, so I'll just comment between them. We went for half of the week. It was a great time at the beach for us.

Chumlee on the way

Beautiful night sky

The moon was so pretty reflecting on the ocean.

Chumlee on the run
This is what she did when she wasn't chasing the waves or chasing the birds.  She just ran and ran on the sand.

Kiddies on the boards

One day, we went way out as a family (the 4 of us, nana and papa kept chumlee on the beach).  We were having a great time riding the waves in on the boards.  One really big wave came and knocked me good.  I lost my sunglasses.  It was a sad time.  Nana gave me a pair of hers.  I was happy again.

Trick or Treat

Every year we seem to do something different for Halloween. I don't know why. Last year, we didn't go door to door. We just went to the trunk or treat that Nana's church hosted. Since we didn't go "out," I didn't buy costumes. Chumlee's jacket, though, did glow in the dark. Pretty cool, if you ask me!

Peru - Again

I know I posted about this trip already, but I wanted to be sure I had included all the pictures.

Big Man and Princess on the plane
Princess eating cow heart.  She liked it.
Outside the Presidential Palace
Pacific Ocean
Serving the missionaries Sunday dinner
Chandler drinking Inca Kola, a great soda from Peru.
(he didn't go on the trip, he's just rubbing it in that he can get inca kola where he lives and we can't)
On the van going to the airport
Peruvian restaurant

Cathedral
Mmmm - more cow heart
Princess and her friend (from USA)
More Sunday dinner preparation
One of my favorite pictures from the trip, Big Man and "Peggy" from an orphanage
